It’s been quite a while since I actually posted something about cooking on the blog, but it’s not because I don’t cook anymore, it’s mainly because what I cook is so delicious that I don’t get to take photos in time 😀 But this salad I have been cooking all summer long and every one who hears about it wants to know the recipe. It’s quite famous and traditional in Romania, but I haven’t seen it being cooked anywhere else I went outside the country.
To the Cozia National Park we’ve been before, two years ago in July more exactly, so it’s not the first time we wonder around these beautiful mountains. But, as we still had some more to discover up on the cliffs and as some of our friends have never been here before, we planned another trip over one not so warm and sunny weekend in July.
Stockholm won this year’s Transilvania Film Festival Competition so I saw it in the cinema a couple of months ago. Rodrigo Sorogoyen seems to have mainly directed TV Series so far and one movie in 2008 (8 Dates), but which seems to have remained known only in Spain (winning some national prizes there).
Stockholm on the other hand, won quite a lot of prizes since it was launched and participated in some of the important film festivals around the globe this year, but it seems that only the jury in Romania discovered the ‘something special’ in it and gave it the competition grand prize.
