Beginning of summer, we visited some friends who moved to Germany and spent a couple of days in their small Northern town. We didn’t expect much of the trip when we planned it, except for spending some time together with them and catching up. But we got a bit more, very much worth to be mentioned here – a lovely small town, good weather and lots of green areas to be explored, to relax and enjoy the quiet and easy pace around.
Tübingen is another town we visited while on our short trip in the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany, this spring. A bit bigger than Nürtingen, it also has the specific German charm that I tend to like more and more.
Being in Germany for a short trip and staying in Nurtingen, having a quick visit at the Hohenneuffen Castle nearby is a good option if you have some spare time and the weather is absolutely beautiful.
Having friends outside of Romania is always a very good excuse to plan a short vacation. Especially since they live in an amazing house in the center of a nice German town, small and quiet. Just perfect for a weekend of relaxation.
There was a music festival in Budapest somewhere at the end of April last year and a great party at the beginning of May in Berlin. There were days and days of thinking which one to chose or how to get to both of them and after struggling to find a solution, after so many nights with no sleep, we finally did it: the Euro Tour in 10 days -> Budapest -> Bratislava -> Prague-> Dresden -> Berlin. The first trip for just the two of us.
I travelled to Frankfurt somewhere at the beginning of March and I was in a lazy mood ever since so here it is, with a 3-week delay, the Maintropolis (like the locals like to call this city) experience.
3 days in Germany! Yay! Still my favorite country in Europe. After three years of going to Berlin, this time it’s Bavaria time! So here we are, on a Friday morning, very early, in a plane (enjoying the German Alps and the sunrise) supposed to land to Memmingen, somewhere 100 kilometers from Munich.
