After the stop we had to The Giant’s Causeway, our next destination was somewhere around 10 kilometers further, to the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge.
What seemed in the first place to be just another city break for us, turned out to be something more than that. We left home planning to stay in Dublin for 5 days and explore the city as much as we could. But meeting some friends who live in Ireland made us change our plans and decide to go outside of Dublin and explore the country a bit more. So for one day we took a nice road trip to Northern Ireland to check out the Giants Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.
Since we finally got to UK to visit our friends in Chesterflied and our flight was arriving and departing in Luton Airport, a short stop in London seemed like a good idea especially since I’ve never been there before and well, you know… some places you just have to check on your destinations list.
In May this year we had a one week trip to the UK to finally visit some friends who have been living in Chesterfield for the last 7 – 8 years. And since Wizzair decided to introduce a flight from Sibiu to London 3 times a week, it was the perfect excuse to finally make this trip happen. About Chesterfield there isn’t too much to day, it’s just a small English town, like probably all small English towns are, but during our vacation there we took a one day trip to the Chatsworth House, which we found to be a very nice and relaxing place to be.
