After some long time of reading Asian literature, I came across a really good African book that I am about to finish. Disgrace written by the South African J.M. Coetzee.
It’s a book about the a middle-aged professor who manages to ruin his life and the lives of the ones around him, get’s kicked from University, divorces twice, but besides this he has the attitude of a spoiled teenager who doesn’t want to admit that he’s making some terrible mistakes.
A movie was also made based on the story of the book, a really good one with John Malkovich as lead actor.
