Going from a Jazz Festival in Gărâna to some relaxing days at the Danube, down to Dubova and Eşelniţa we had the chance to pass by one of the most beautiful cascade falls I have yet to see.

The Bigar Cascade Falls is located in the Caraș-Severin district, 12 kilometers from the Bozovici village, where the 45th parallel imaginary crosses the Earth, in the Anina Mountains, on the Miniş Valley. What is special about this cascade is that the water falls over moss, and not over rocks like most of the waterfalls. The view is absolutely amasing, the water forming a veil when falling in the Miniş river.

According to The World Geography publication, the Bigar Cascade Fall from Caraș-Severin is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, amazing through its spectacular show of the water.
