One weekend mid-August, we packed our tent and camping gear in search of some milder temperatures, away from the unbearable summer heat wave in the city. The Făgăraș Mountains are always a convenient option for us, so here are, daughter included, spending a full weekend at high altitudes.

Horse-riding is not necessarily a very common activity in Sibiu or even in Romania. There are people who are passionate about horses and horse-riding, there are some well known stud farms, but sometimes people are reluctant to try this sport.
