We visited the Valea Cetatii Cave when we went to the Rasnov Citadel and the Rasnov Fortified Church. It’s a cave that was only opened for visitors in 2011, but that was discovered about 60 years ago.
I like the Fortified Churches of Transylvania so much! I find them one of the most important landmarks of this area of Romania. This time, it’s about the Rasnov fortified church.
Close to Brasov, at the base of the Bucegi Mountains, you will have the chance to visit one of the most well-preserved medieval citadels and defense systems of old Tranlsyvania.
