We stayed for 2 days in the Garden Route area, hoping for a nice weather that would allow us to have a proper swim in the sea and some sun-bathing. We were a bit unfortunate and got some rain and clouds instead, but luckily the area has a lot to offer even on a bad weather.

One day of our South Africa trip was dedicated to one of the outdoor activities we love the most: hiking. Mountains are always very appealing to us, and since South Africa has some quite high and beautiful ones, we couldn’t have missed such an experience.

The day we spent in Kruger National Park was by far one the highlights of our South African trip. It was a full day of new experiences, of admiring what nature is all about, of trying to understand how every animal living in the wild has its own purpose in creating such a beautiful and surprising Eco-system.

4000 kilometers and 15 days of exploring and experiencing what this  country is all about. The trip started with a mixture of ideas, feelings, emotions and it ended with an even bigger mixture of all mentioned above. But at least, in the end, some of my questions got the answers I was hoping for. Sometimes, maybe, I got more answers than needed, but it was helpful in getting a more clear view of the reality surrounding South Africa.
