[Spain] Teide Volcano – highest peak so far
Teide was the main reason we decided to have a short trip to Tenerife and not stay only in Gran Canaria in our holiday. In the end, the idea of climbing a mountain and not staying only on the beach seemed a great idea to have a full-option holiday.

[Romania] 4 days at more than 2000 meters high
We were planning this trip since last year, but somehow it didn’t find its place in none of the available weekends we had last summer. But, as we had a longer weekend this August, we decided to have this 4 days trip in the Făgăraș mountains (again!) to reach the highest peak of the Romanian…

[Romania] The lakes in the Parâng Mountains
2014 was for sure the ‘mountains’ year. We did almost all the trips we had planned at the beginning of the year and reached some of the highest peaks of our country. This time it’s also about mountains, of course, but this particular trip is more about the lakes in the mountains.

[Romania] Valea lui Stan (Stan’s Valley)
Stan’s Valley is an adventure. And a beauty. And unbelievable landscapes. And recently new ladders and climbing props have been added all over the valley so we had to do it. [Romania] Sunday hicking to Suru

[Romania] The beauties of the Nera – Beușnița Gorges Natural Park
The trip to the Nera – Beușnița Gorges Natural Park was so much planned and we considered so many times to switch plans and not go there, that I still can’t believe that we actually managed to get there and spend 4 splendid days.

[Romania] The 7 Ladders Canyon
Coming back from a very nice trip in the Ciucaș Mountains and passing through the Brasov county, the 7 LaddersCanyon is a must see. Very close to the city of Brasov and easy reachable by car, is a very nice place to enjoy a sunny Sunday if you are not afraid of heights.

[Romania] Ciucaș Mountain
Winter is slowly fading away so March seemed like a good idea to spend a weekend in the mountains. The weather conditions seemed good so our choice was the Ciucas Mountains. We left Sibiu one very early Saturday morning to get to the Ciucas Chalet. The Chalet is situated in the Prahova district and reachable…

[Romania] Transfăgărășan and Bâlea Lake
If ever in Sibiu and you have a spare day, the best option is to have a trip to the Balea Lake and Balea Waterfall and also drive on one of the most impressive roads of Romania, the Transfăgărășan.
