Since I wrote about our 2018 travels outside of Romania, it seemed legit to offer Romania its 15 minutes of fame and have a summary of the places we checked out in the country last year. We’re mostly traveling around the country during the weekend, except for a more extended seaside trip and a 4 – 5 days hiking trip.

Our second day of visiting Lithuania started after the electronic music festival we attended. As we were still recovering a bit, it was a short day, with just a few stops. Also the weather was not the ideal one, with clouds and a bit of rain, considering that what we had planned for this day was to stay mostly outdoor.

I’ve been to Novi Sad some 10 years ago as a volunteer for one of Europe’s biggest music festivals, Exit. I don’t remember many things about the city from back then, but I do recall that I liked the city and its atmosphere, so that’s why we decided to pay Novi Sad a new visit while in Belgrade.
Summer weekend, perfect weather forecast, in the mood for sleeping under the stars, but also for doing some proper workout. Enough reasons to leave from work one Friday afternoon directly to the Râmețului Gorges (Cheile Râmețului).
Since we’ve already written about so many places we’ve seen, we thought it would be a good idea to put them all on a Google Map.
