SydicatGourment is a rather new restaurant, opened only a few months ago, on a beautiful street in Sibiu. In its Facebook description it says Asian fusion restaurant and to be honest sounds like the best description.

The place looks just lovely, very simple, but with a great taste and elegant. Also it’s a non-smoking place and that can only make me very happy.

As for the food…well, you have quite a big variety to chose from and the dishes are mainly Indian ones. You have everything from starters, to soups, main dishes and deserts. The menu is constantly updated, there are always dishes of the day. There are special dishes that are cooked only during certain seasons, as the guys there use only fresh and natural ingredients so that the you have a full taste experience.

I’ve been there 2 times already and each time what I ordered was simply delicious. Garlic cream soup, chicken biryani, chicken curry, vegetables curry or vegetable biryani are the ones I already tried so far. There is a nice selection of vegetarian dishes as well, so it’s a restaurant that suits every kind of gourmand.

One thing in particular about this place is that they always serve still water from the house, which for Sibiu might seem rather unusual. Regarding the prices, nothing in particular, the same range as most of the restaurants in Sibiu. You get to pay somewhere around 7 EUR for a complete meal including some drinks.
