The third day of Istanbul was for sure a very busy and exhausting one. We checked Hagia Sopia, The Blue Mosque and we had a serious round of shopping in the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Bazaar.

The second day of our trip to Istanbul was for sure the nicest one, with the perfect weather that allowed us to do what got us there in the first place. We woke up quite early and the first ‘WOW’ we said was for the perfect view that our hotel’s terrace offered us.

Istanbul happened this year at the end of February because of a flight offer we couldn’t refuse from Tarom. We booked our flights in October last year and since then we had nothing to do but wait for the trip to actually happen.

We visited the Valea Cetatii Cave when we went to the Rasnov Citadel and the Rasnov Fortified Church. It’s a cave that was only opened for visitors in 2011, but that was discovered about 60 years ago.
