Weekend cooking
This weekend, I cooked something for lunch, simple and quick. Chicken rolls with garlic, basil and zucchini and vegetables packages in the oven. The ingredients for all this : chicken breast, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, onions, cheese, fresh basil.

I just finished reading Catch -22 by Joseph Heller and I found it simply delicious. Definitely on top 5 of the books I read this year. Yossarian and his attempts to escape the army and the war made this book a true masterpiece.

Vegetables Rolls
Mother cooked today a delicious dish : vegetables rolls made of grated zucchini, eggplants, potatoes, tomatoes, green beans, garlic, onions and an egg, mixed all together and fried for about 20 minutes in a frying pan.The dough was made of flour, eggs, water and yeast, mixed together.

[Film] The Green Butchers – the best marinade ever
Since I really enjoyed watching ‘Adam’s Apples’ and ‘Flickering Lights’ , last night I decided to watch another Anders Thomas Jensen movie, called The Green Butchers. It was a good movie, but I can’t say I liked it as much as I liked the other two.

[Books] Haruki Murakami – Sputnik Sweetheart
I just finished reading another Murakami book. This time it was Sputnik Sweetheart. Definitely the Haruki Murakami style this time as well. It’s a book about love, about friendship and relationships, but it’s also, a book where abnormal things happen, where people double themselves and live their lives from different perspectives.

Being in my ‘watching Nordic movies’ period, I saw another great one a few days ago. This time is a new director, Petter Næss, a Norvegian director with few movies so far, but really worth checking out.
