A bit tired of driving every summer more than ten hours to the Romanian sea side and taking advantage of a direct flight from Sibiu, for our 2022 summer vacation we headed to Corfu, a beautiful and small Greek Island, to enjoy the sun, the sea and some quality family time.
For our 2023 family vacation, we went back to Corfu for one week so we have some extra updates.
Continue readingThis autumn, somewhere at the end of September, we had a one week vacation in Santorini. We chose this destination, as we were impressed of Greece when he had been in Athens a year before, and also because the place is so much promoted everywhere we looked.

Part of our trip to Athens at the beginning of the year was also a one day trip to the Aegina island. Just a one hour distance by boat, it’s a perfect destination if you want to see a more picturesque part of Greece, not very far from Athens.
For the second year now, we planned a city break somewhere in February around Valentine’s Day (well, actually around Dragobete Day – which is the Romanian Valentine’s Day celebrated on the 24th of February). In 2014 we visited Istanbul and this year we spent 3 days in Athens.
